Launching a start-up from opera singing entrepreneur

Truelinked


Entrepreneur Sune Hjerrild is a former opera singer who was inspired to give the classical music industry a 21st century shake-up with his disruptive music technology start-up Truelinked. Home to the first decentralised database of 70,000 classical music artists, 400 arts organisations and 500 agencies, across 80 countries, the platform facilitates greater connection between these audiences.


Our PR campaign to launch the service in the classical music industry highlighted how Truelinked would disrupt a traditional and old-fashioned industry that had previously shied away from innovation. We worked with Sune to tell his story and reveal how his own experience as an opera singer in the classical music industry had motivated him to empower artists and drive him to launch Truelinked.


The results included an interview in Real Business, a lead print interview in Classical Music magazine and a piece in influential opera blog, Opera Ramblings. Podcasts were a major focus with key industry influencers interviewing Sune about the future of the industry, including The Portfolio Composer, the Entrepreneurial Musician, EPN podcast and Crushing Classical.
