Audible, a leading provider of spoken word entertainment, has today announced a major new English language multi-cast production for Disorder (‘Sindrome’), from best-selling Italian author and social media favourite, Rokia.

Disorder - originally published as Sindrome - was an instant hit in Italy when it was published in 2023, as exciting young writer Rokia followed up her bestselling debut, The Truth Untold (La Verità Nascota). Sensitively tackling issues around mental illness, such as self-harm, anorexia and PTSD, the novel has received widespread praise, particularly among Italian Gen-Z audiences and on BookTok, where Rokia has become one of the platform’s most influential writers.

Audible acquired the English language rights for Disorder/Sindrome from Viviana Vuscovich at Mauri Spagnol. The book was translated into English by Beth Hickling-Moore.
